Fire Retardant Coating


Ace Mastik Coating is a water-based, solvent-free fire retardant coating for electrical cables. This is a fire retardant coating which is applied onto electrical and mechanical penetrant surfaces like all cable insulation and jacketing materials, metal and plastic service pipe lines, air ducts, etc. Ace Mastik Coating does not require the electrical cables to be de rated for current carrying capacity of the cables. This fire retardant coating is an ablative product which, in the event of a fire, undergoes an endothermic reaction which reduces the burning rate and the spread of fire. It is a hardy fire retardant coating that does not get affected due to various exposure conditions expected in commercial and industrial applications like, aging, moderate impact, temperature commercial and industrial application like, aging, moderate impact, temperature variation, weak acids and alkalis, water logging.

Ace Mastik Coating is an ablative product which, in case of fire, undergoes an endothermic reaction which reduces the burning rate and spread of fire. In addition to its other properties, Ace Mastik Coating is also free of asbestos and halogen.
