Product Description

VS Panel Seal for Glass façade is a fire sealing system designed specifically for glass façade buildings, which are increasingly a preferred architectural element in modern high-rise constructions. In these buildings, gaps are typically left between the glass façade and floor slabs. If unsealed, these gaps can serve as a an easy passage for fire, smoke, and toxic fumes to spread rapidly on all  floors.

The system consists of mineral wool boards inserted into the gaps between the façade and the, concrete floor slabs with the exposed surfaces coated using Ace Mastik Coating, Any annular gaps between the panel system and the structural surfaces are sealed using Ace Mastik Sealant, ensuring a continuous and reliable fire barrier.

VS Panel Seal maintains its performance under fire conditions even after exposure to weathering, aging, vibrations, and ambient temperature variations, providing a durable and long-lasting fire protection solution for modern glass façade buildings.

Testing Details

  • Product is Tested as per ASTM E 814 & UL 1479  for upto 2 hours fire rating.
