Product Description
VS Plastic Pipe Wraps are dry, flexible intumescent film wraps designed to protect plastic service pipes that penetrate through wall or floor openings in a building structure. In the event of a fire, the intumescent material expands multiple times its original volume, effectively sealing the plastic pipe opening as well as the annular gap between the pipe and the surrounding wall or floor. VS Plastic pipe wraps prevent the passage of flames, hot gases, and smoke, to the non-fire side of the assembly during Fire incidences , thereby creating effective Fire Compartments.
Testing Details
- Product is tested as per BS 476-20:1987, Part 20.
