Ace Mortar Seal
Product Description
Ace Mortar Seal is a ready-to-use, single-component, self-curing cementitious mortar compound designed for passive fire protection applications. It is mixed with water at site to achieve a workable consistency, allowing easy application at the location of fire stop installations. Once cured, Ace Mortar Seal forms an in-situ cast fire stop or fire barrier. When installed in accordance with the recommended installation procedure, Ace Mortar Seal effectively prevents the spread of fire, smoke, and toxic gases in Fire conditions. It is suitable for sealing both horizontal openings—such as floor penetrations or gaps beneath control and electrical panels—as well as vertical openings in walls for compartmentation, providing fire resistance ratings of up to 4 hours.
Testing Details
- The product is tested as per BS476 Part 20, ASTM E 814 & UL 1479, & IS 12458 at Central Building Research Institute (CBRI)
- Product is FM Listed and FM approved Class 4990 complying to ASTM E 814 standard.
