VS Steel Coating VM

Product Description

VS Steel Coating VM is a cement-based fire retardant paint and steel coating used in structures to offer fire resistance and insulation. It is effective in preventing the collapse of steel structures due to the lack of bearing capacity during a fire.
Steel structures lose their bearing capacity at a temperature of about 550°C. It is therefore very vulnerable to distortion and destruction in fire. a If all the exposed steel surfaces are coated with VS Steel Coating VM, a fire resistance of up to 2 hours can be achieved. It is therefore one of the most reliable fire resistant paint solutions available in the market.
The coating is applied over a reinforcement metal lath that is securely fixed to the steel structure by means of welded studs. Prior to applying the VS Steel Coating VM, it is necessary that the steel is treated with an anti-corrosive primer.

VS Steel Coating VM is designed to perform under harsh environmental conditions like weathering, aging, vibrations, temperature changes, and water logging. The product is non-toxic, halogen-free, resistant to vermin, termites, rodents, and is a reliable for industrial as well as commercial establishments.
